THE FAMiLY BEEZ
Our beekeeping family business ROTA started producing thyme honey 40 years ago on the island of Serifos.
Continuing our family tradition, in an attempt to provide our children with pure honey, we managed to produce this exceptional kind of Greek organic raw honey of a unique taste, rich aroma and golden color.
We consider raw organic honey to be a gift to us from bees. We are pleased to share this gift with you!
Our love for nature, the respect for the environment and the passion for bee-keeping led us to organic agriculture.
Our family tradition supplied us with valuable knowledge and years of experience.
The biodiversity of the wider region which is protected and characterized as NATURA 2000 has allowed us to produce honey of an excellent quality. The modern art of design has highlighted this precious good through an inspired packaging stressing its origin as well as its authenticity.
ORGANIC WILDFLOWER HONEY – THE FAMiLY BEEZ
All the fragrances of the Spring flowers in a jar. The characteristics of this unique kind of honey, its golden color, its soft aroma and its delicate taste are due to the rich flora of the Greek nature and the biodiversity of the island of Serifos. It is collected in May and the locals call it “Magiatiko”.
It is produced in an area protected and characterized as “NATURA 2000”.
The crystallization is a natural phenomenon of the pure unrefined honey.
